  5. Another reason to love the internet. Have done a little reading and am so happy to have finally found out what became of you and where you've been. You and Carol Merrill were two wonderful reasons to watch daytime television in the 70s. Still a fan.

  6. Hello George,

It's delightful to hear from you. Carol Merril was a fellow L.A. model who I worked with often in fashion shows before either one of us became game show models. When I first moved to SB, Caroll also lived here. She later moved to Hawaii.

Carol was a true beauty who had great style and was much more striking in person than the image she portrayed on TV. Her long, straight, surfer girl hair never showed under the wig she wore on "Deal." And, amongst many very dear people I met while modeling, Carol was one of the nicest and most humble.

Thanks so much for reminding me of Carol, and for your interesting and thoughtful message.

    Sincerely, ~ Anitra

  7. That-is a great photo. You remind me of that photo from Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn
(At least, I think that's the right one...everything film wise from before the first Star Trek Motion Picture save Bullitt, The Towering Inferno, The Wrong Man, 12 Angry Men, Run Silent, Run Deep, The French Connection and The Great Escape among others, is a giant blur.)
Thanks for sharing and airing it out!
    Yours,
    Joe

  8. Hey Joe,

Hello again. Glad you like the photo. In my teens and early in my career, people often compared my looks to Audrey Hepburn. I couldn't see it. Maybe it was my ears and shape of face. I still can't believe anyone could compare me to someone so beautiful!

    Thank YOU, ~ Aneet

  9. Wow. I'm actually leaving a message for Anitra Ford from the Price Is Right. I loved you and Janice on TPiR. I remember a show where you both were supposed to roll out the "Hi Lo" game and no one was there when the camera came on! You came running from the back to roll it out for play. One of my favorite "bloopers" and memories. I wish you happy and healthy years ahead. Thanks for the memories. (I have to select a profile and I don't know how to do that, so I will choose anonymous. I'm Kevin Forsyth from Connecticut. :)

  10. Hello Kevin,

So nice to hear from you. Thank you for your kind words. You must have been a regular viewer to have seen that blooper. As there were not a lot of them, they do stand out.

So glad you left a comment. My good wishes to you as well. Sincerely, ~ Anitra

  11. Not that I minded seeing your physical beauty in the 70's, but it's great to see your artistic side surfacing through your photographs. I especially like the foliage pic accompanied by the fitting R.Carson quote,
